Transition Specialist – End-to-End Project Management

Job Description:

We seek a seasoned Transition Specialist with extensive experience in managing end-to-end projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering seamless transitions across various functions of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 16 years of IT project management experience with a focus on non-Financial and Accounting functions (with some application and infrastructure) delivery and migration.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing mid-to-large scale migration projects.
  • Proficient in using MS Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Data analysis, process flow mapping, and documentation knowledge and experience are necessary.
Project Management Skills:
  • Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, and Trello.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive to follow through on critical and time-sensitive tasks.

The selected candidate will independently lead multiple Transition projects by executing strong project management principles and deliver projects within timelines. They will coordinate with cross-functional teams across global delivery centers, establish robust governance, and transparently report status to clients and internal stakeholders. The candidate must proactively identify and report project risks and mitigation plans, capture learning and best practices, and ensure reinforcement in subsequent projects. Additionally, they will deliver trainings to internal managers on the Organization's Transition methodology and approach and constantly strive to evolve and improve the company's Transition approach.
