Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and grow our business in Malaysia. As the key representative for our brand, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a country-brand strategy that drives revenue and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs through liaisoning with agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for clearances, including design agencies, legal, R&D, and CQA.
  • Benchmark competition pricing and branding, and maintain a repository of all data.
  • Lead, engage, and motivate a diverse international team of Marico and partner members.

You will also be responsible for settling distributor/trade/customer claims within specified timeframes, as well as communicating company-related information to associates in Malaysia and Singapore.

Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
  • Experience in trade marketing, sales, and distribution.
  • Knowledge of category initiatives and sales forecasting.
