This position is responsible for designing fire and security systems, including fire alarm, access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of fire and security system engineering and global customer-facing experience.
The role involves working independently to apply established standards and practices, ensuring that projects are executed within agreed schedules and budgets to meet customer technical specification requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to carry out hardware detail design, engineering, and application development, as well as perform tasks such as battery calculations and voltage drop calculations.
In addition, the role requires developing typical or template designs for complex systems and project-specific standards. The candidate should also be able to read and understand control narratives, logic diagrams, and Io matrix.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and controlling assigned work scope against project plans, ensuring effective change control, and identifying risks and opportunities. The role also involves ensuring that proposed engineered solutions meet project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation.
Another key responsibility is to ensure group work complies with quality management procedures, identify possible improvement opportunities, and manage their implementation. Additionally, the candidate should ensure common methods, techniques, tools, and products are effectively applied and provide feedback for future improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma/BE/Btech in Electrical/Electronics required.
- At least 3-6 years of experience in fire and security system design mandatory.
- Strong domain knowledge of fire code and security is essential.
- NICET/BS 5839 and Security System product certifications desirable.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Excellent communication skills essential.
