Fire Protection Project Manager Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Project Manager to lead our high-profile fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects from start to finish, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage and coordinate all aspects of fire protection projects, including design, implementation, and testing.
    • Oversee the work of subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Inspect work sites for code compliance and safety hazards, ensuring that all plans meet regulatory requirements.
    • Validate design issues related to fire fighting systems and suggest alternative solutions.
    • Coordinate and administer fire fighting related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals.
    • Ensure timely billing and manage project finances effectively.
    • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver projects that meet their expectations.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fire protection systems, with a focus on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
    • Excellent knowledge of fire fighting systems, sprinkler systems, and fire alarm systems.
    • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Results-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
