Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor fire safety systems, equipment, and procedures at the site.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety standards, codes, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, etc.).
- Lead and train security/fire safety staff in fire prevention, evacuation drills, and emergency response.
- Prepare incident reports, fire risk assessments, and maintain fire safety documentation.
- Coordinate with project/site management teams for implementation of fire safety measures.
- Take immediate action during fire alarms or emergencies to ensure safety of personnel and property.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/ITI/Graduate with Fire & Safety certification (preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in fire safety supervision, preferably in industrial or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, NFPA/IS standards, and statutory compliance.
- Good leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and ensure timely evacuation/safety protocols.
