Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems (Hydrant, Sprinkler, Pump room, Hose Reel, Extinguishers, etc.) at site.
  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, and ensure work is carried out as per approved standards and codes (NFPA, NBC, TAC, IS standards).
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure timely project execution.
  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit to project management.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage material planning, requirement, and inventory at site.
  • Troubleshoot site-related issues and provide technical solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of installation checklists, test reports, and commissioning certificates.
  • Liaise with clients during inspections, approvals, and handover process.
  • Monitor site workforce and subcontractors for quality and productivity.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting Systems (hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, pump, suppression systems).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Fire & Safety / Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum
    2–5 years
    of experience in Fire Fighting Projects (site execution).
  • AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency is an added advantage.
