Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Quality Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Fire Fighting Systems
to ensure that all installation, testing, and commissioning activities meet project quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor
    Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)
    procedures for fire fighting projects.
  • Inspect installation works of fire hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, hose reels, and fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure compliance with
    NFPA, NBC, IS standards
    , and project specifications.
  • Conduct
    material inspections, welding inspections, and hydrostatic pressure tests.
  • Prepare and maintain
    QA/QC documentation
    such as Inspection Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and method statements.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and clients for inspections and approvals.
  • Review contractor and vendor quality documents and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Assist in preparing
    Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
    and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Support commissioning and handover documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Fire Engineering.
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in quality control for
    fire fighting or MEP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of
    NFPA codes, IS standards, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Proficient in
    MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with
    high-rise buildings, industrial, or infrastructure fire protection systems.
  • Certification in
    QA/QC or ISO standards
    will be an added advantage.
