Job Title:

BIM Coordinator MEP

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled BIM expert to spearhead digital delivery and integration of projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM protocols, execution plans, and other project documentation.

  • Manage overall BIM usage for projects.
  • Develop and maintain BIM workflow, protocols, and standards within the team.
  • Understand client requirements and analyze/implement BIM execution plans.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows.
  • Provide primary technical support for BIM-related issues.
  • Liaise with specialists/modelers/leads/managers.
  • Manage Revit project production and contents.
  • Create families and demonstrate expertise in modeling.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models.
  • Lead a team of CAD/Revit modelers.
  • Perform quality control on completeness and adherence to company standards for shop drawings.
  • Use Navisworks tools for review/QC/documentation.
  • Responsible for pre-delivery QA/QC.
  • Provide mentoring on best practice workflows.
  • Monitor compliance with BIM standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct studies and explain them to modelers.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding project issues.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in design, drafting, and BIM management.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools.
  • Experience using Navis for coordination.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities.
