Job Opportunity: Business Development Representative
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and researching potential clients, generating leads through various channels, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients across various industries, including construction and property management.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and social media platforms.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage lead interactions effectively.
- Customer Outreach & Relationship Building
- Contact prospects to introduce elevator products and services.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Maintain customer interest by following up on leads and inquiries.
- Market Research & Targeting
- Analyze market trends and identify key industries and regions for elevator services.
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing to refine lead generation strategies.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand professional networks.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams
- Work closely with sales representatives to ensure quality leads are handed off effectively.
- Provide feedback to marketing teams on campaign effectiveness.
- Assist in developing lead-generation strategies and marketing materials to improve overall performance.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, and follow-ups in CRM software.
- Prepare reports on lead generation success rates and conversion metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
- Continuously refine lead-generation strategies based on data insights to optimize results.
Requirements:
- Sales & Communication Skills
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging potential clients.
- Cold Calling & Prospecting
- Prior experience in telemarketing, door-to-door sales, or B2B outreach is advantageous.
- Market Research & Analytical Skills
- Ability to identify key prospects and industries for targeted lead generation.
- CRM Software Knowledge
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other customer management tools is desired.
- Networking & Relationship Building
- Able to develop long-term professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Goal-Oriented & Self-Motivated
- Ability to work independently and meet lead targets.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in B2B lead generation, construction sales, or elevator industry sales is a plus.
- Experience in a technical or mechanical sales environment is beneficial.
Work Environment:
- Office-based or remote work arrangements, with occasional travel to industry events.
- May require site visits to understand client needs and preferences.
