Senior Software Development Leader

The Opportunity:

You will lead medium to large-scale projects with internal and direct customer impact. Your key responsibilities include day-to-day management of the engineering team, ensuring technical quality, product quality, and efficient use of resources.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering assigned projects on time, budget, and agreed quality standards
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects that satisfy business needs
  • Leading teams to ensure project delivery success
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, both internally and externally
  • Applying best practices and coding patterns to deliver world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code-quality
  • Creating a culture that emphasizes meeting expectations and delivering value
  • Driving automated solutions to improve efficiency and process improvement
  • Growing and managing the skills and talent in the team
  • Managing people resource processes related to objectives definitions, regular check-ins, assessments, and compensation
  • Facilitating regular steering committee meetings and presenting to senior-level management

What We Look for:

  • 14+ years of experience in developing and managing core products or business applications
  • Strong domain experience in cybersecurity, with the ability to drive innovation and take ownership of cyber security offerings to customers and managed service providers (MSPs)
  • Experience with content management, web development, agile development, and global delivery
  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development processes
  • Strong design, architecture, and coding experience
  • Hands-on experience in C++, C technologies
  • Good knowledge in AWS, multi-project program management, and development
  • Able to handle large-scale and multiple products and scrum teams concurrently
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, business-oriented
  • Strong leadership, people management, and mentoring skills
  • Goal-driven; plans and manages toward achieving goals, anticipates problems and issues, and proactively drives their resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Skilled in presentations and discussions with business and technical staff
  • Experience working in an international environment involving multiple development sites across various time zones
