Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned commercial banking professional to join our BFSI practice team.

This individual will act as an expert advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements.
  • Provide thorough understanding of the banking delivery function, including maturity platforms, geographical requirements, client support systems, and accelerators in the ecosystem.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function.
  • Own RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as process reengineering, automation, and workflow orchestration, in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a BPS function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is a plus.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in management or related field is required.
