Job Role: Senior Audit Specialist in Commercial Real Estate

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced audit professional with a strong background in U.S. commercial real estate audits.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations for clients across various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS standards.
  • Analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist with the coordination of daily tasks, including planning, fieldwork, and project wrap-up.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in the United States.
  • Carry out independent research on US GAAP and US GAAS to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Establish realistic time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communicate work progress and any issues that arise with supervisors and directors.


Requirements:

  • CPA (or in process) or CA certification with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or U.S. auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to U.S. offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Industry exposure: Commercial Real Estate
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency and delivers results efficiently.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
