Key Account Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, with experience in hot kitchen operations, product development, and handling kitchen operations as a Commissary 2 or Commissary 1 chef at hotels or cruise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting local sales and business development initiatives, serving as a technical expert and advisor to Hotels and Restaurants, QSRs, PBCLs, CDRs, and FDRs. They will also plan and execute innovative product applications, coach and train sales staff, provide culinary support, and customize cooking processes based on individual kitchen conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical expertise and advisory services to Hotels and Restaurants, QSRs, PBCLs, CDRs, and FDRs
  • Planning and execution of innovative product applications
  • Coaching and training of sales staff
  • Culinary support and customized cooking processes
  • Data management and concise reporting on results and status
  • Product troubleshooting and customer interface for technical questions or issues
  • Evaluation and feedback on new products
  • Generation of new product application ideas to increase sales

Requirements:

  • Hotel Management Degree
  • Experience in hot kitchen operations, product development, and handling kitchen operations as Commissary 2 or Commissary 1 chef at hotels or cruise
  • 3-4 years of experience in operations and product development
  • Experience in preparing continental cuisines
  • Creative and good training skills
  • Excellent communication skills
