Job Title: Associate Vice President - Finance
A top-tier financial professional is sought to drive the financial strategy of our business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The role covers a wide range of responsibilities including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will also be expected to lead statutory audits, manage vendor relationships, and oversee treasury operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position as you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in finance with experience in leadership positions. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Additionally, you should have deep knowledge of real estate or hospitality finance and experience with venture-backed startups. Proficiency in financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth.
  • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and structuring to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage budgets, cash flow, and investments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closure of books.

Accounting & Compliance:
  • Lead statutory audits.
  • Oversee ROC, RBI, FEMA, TDS, GST, and ESOP compliance.
  • Manage vendor contracts and negotiate fees.

Fundraising & Investor Relations:
  • Own investor documents, financial models, decks, and data rooms.
  • Manage due diligence and support negotiations and closures.
  • Maintain investor updates and cap table.

Banking & Treasury:
  • Build proactive relationships with banks and lenders.
  • Lead debt structuring, working capital facilities, and vendor financing.
  • Manage treasury operations and ensure liquidity.

Candidate Profile:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles.
  • Strong background in VC fundraising, due diligence, and modeling.
  • Experience in hospitality, real estate, or venture-backed startups.
  • Hands-on with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks.
