Senior Financial Director

Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Director will lead and oversee the entire accounts and finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic financial planning.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Financial Strategy & Management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to optimize cost, improve margins, and enhance profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance against business objectives and provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  1. Accounts & Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the accounting team's performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable financial reporting standards.
  1. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, and other relevant laws.
  • Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  1. Treasury & Working Capital Management
  • Effectively manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization.
  • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  1. Cost Control & MIS
  • Implement efficient cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
  • Develop and present regular MIS reports to management for tracking financial performance.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor the accounts & finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 8 - 15 years post CA qualification experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
