Key Position Overview

The role of the Financial Director will lead the finance team for our Gateway hotel in Prayagraj, driving strategic financial planning and goal-oriented leadership.

As a key member of the leadership team, this position champions the development and implementation of property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed customer expectations.

This role provides financial expertise to support the successful execution of brand service strategy and initiatives while maximizing return on investment. Additionally, it creates and executes a business plan aligned with the property and brand's business strategy, focusing on the delivery of desirable financial results.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Decision Making:

  • Develops and implements means to improve profit through cost estimation and benefit analysis, exploration of new business opportunities, etc.
  • Analyzes data to forecast sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
  • Compiles information to analyze and monitor actual sales against projected sales.
  • Ensures accurate forecasting to enable operations to adapt to changes in the business.

Leadership of Finance and Accounting Teams:

  • Utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and motivate others; advocates sound financial decision making; demonstrates integrity and honesty.
  • Communicates strategic goals, focus, and priorities clearly to subordinates.
  • Leverages leadership and communication skills to influence the executive team and lead own team effectively.

Qualifications:

  • CA/MBA/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting with a preference for the hospitality industry.
