Medical Billing Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our medical billing operations and high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will ensure billing accuracy, drive productivity, strengthen client relationships, and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily medical billing operations (charge entry, AR, denials, collections).
  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and adherence to KPIs/SLAs.
  • Manage and mentor large teams, ensuring high employee engagement and low attrition.
  • Collaborate with directors to execute business strategy and meet client expectations.
  • Analyze metrics and provide actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, payer guidelines) and maintain quality standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client communication and escalations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in medical billing / RCM, with 3–5 years in a managerial / senior leadership role.
  • Strong domain knowledge across billing processes, AR follow-up, denial management, and payer policies.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and multiple clients.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to automation tools / process transformation is an advantage.
