Job Role: Process Specialist – Procurement Operations

The Operational Procurement team focuses on managing end-to-end transactional procurement processes, improving process reliability and service level, increasing overall quality and automation, and capturing value on key focus areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service, etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests which includes PR to PO conversion from initiation through to order fulfillment.
  • Extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to PO's created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external 'customers'/concerned groups
  • FOLLOW UP-TO-DATE operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders
  • TIMELY identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations
  • Operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines and support on audit activities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
