Job Title: Site Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects across Maharashtra, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Lead the end-to-end site acquisition process including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.
  • Build relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments to facilitate land transactions.
  • Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of land documents, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps to prevent discrepancies.
  • Analyze local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to secure cost-effective deals that benefit the organization.
  • Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants to ensure effective project management.
  • Address conflict resolution and handle any legal or community-related issues related to land acquisition to maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of real estate laws, policies, and regulations in Maharashtra.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
