Senior Economic Advisor Position

We seek a highly experienced Senior Economic Advisor to lead strategic initiatives and provide in-depth analysis on fiscal policy, public programs, and economic growth strategies.

  • Develop comprehensive assessments of public policies, programs, and investments to inform informed decision-making.
  • Design and implement robust policy evaluation frameworks to measure effectiveness and support program management.
  • Provide strategic input into fiscal planning, expenditure reviews, and revenue forecasting to optimize resource allocation.
  • Support the development of budget documents, including economic surveys and fiscal plans, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for economic development and collaborate with relevant ministries or government departments to co-develop impactful initiatives.
  • Develop and advise on macroeconomic growth strategies, sectoral investment plans, and competitiveness frameworks to drive sustainable economic growth.
  • Analyze and recommend strategies for enhancing government revenue through tax policy, compliance, and administrative reforms.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives in revenue collection and fiscal engagement to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with government ministries, multilateral agencies, and private sector partners to leverage expertise and resources.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior policymakers and executive leadership to inform key decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government ministries, department of central and state government, and corporate entities to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Key Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field (PhD or equivalent preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in economic advisory, public finance, or policy consulting.
  • Proven expertise in economic impact analysis, policy evaluation, fiscal and budgetary planning, growth strategy formulation, revenue optimization, and tax policy.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to manage complex projects and teams.
  • Experience working with government agencies, international organizations, or think tanks is highly valued.

Economic Development Expertise:

  • Strategic thinker with a systems-level understanding of economic development.
  • Ability to translate complex economic data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
