Business Finance Manager Job Overview

This is a senior-level Business Finance Manager role that requires strategic leadership and financial expertise to drive business growth across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex financial deals, leading cross-functional teams, and developing actionable financial insights.

  • Financial Leadership: Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Corporate Finance teams to drive profitable growth across the region.
  • Deal Pricing & Governance: Oversee pricing for complex deals (T&M, Fixed Price, Managed Services), ensuring optimal sizing, compliance, and margin safeguards.
  • P&L Management: Own the end-to-end P&L for assigned business units; review financial performance monthly with Business/Function Heads.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting exercises, incorporating revenue, costs, FX, and regional dynamics.
  • Profitability & Performance Analysis: Deliver monthly profitability dashboards and variance analyses; recommend actions to improve margins and cash flow.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Provide actionable financial insights to business leaders; support strategic planning, GTM initiatives, and investment decisions.
  • Repository & Reporting: Establish repositories for deal pricing/cost sheets; track win–loss ratios and maintain financial models for decision support.
  • Expense Management: Monitor OPEX, enforce budget controls, and ensure adherence to financial discipline across units.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in financial management, pricing strategy, and advanced financial modeling.
  • Deep understanding of IT/technology services business models, including managed services and outsourcing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.
  • Qualified CA is mandatory
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in business finance roles within medium/large IT/software/services organizations, with proven exposure to Global markets.
  • Experience managing multi-geo P&L ownership and leading finance teams.
