Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our accounting team. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, preparing tax returns, and overseeing client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience working in public accounting, with a strong background in financial statement preparation and tax compliance. They should also be certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).

This is a challenging role that requires exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing. The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Audit Engagement Management: Plan and execute audit engagements, including testing and analytical procedures.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for clients using CCH ProSystem Fx Tax software.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, including draft and final documents.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
