Job Title: Associate Director of Sales
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Sales to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for coordinating sales operations with other departments, developing and maintaining business relations with customers, and ensuring the maintenance of our customer database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Sales Operations: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless sales operations and achieve business goals.
- Develop and Maintain Business Relations: Foster strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Customer Database Management: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of our customer database to inform sales strategies.
- Target New Customers: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to secure new customers.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing the Strategic Sales Plan to drive business growth.
- Negotiations and Business Development: Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the hotel and identify new business opportunities.
- Community Relations: Attend local business events to network and maintain high visibility for the hotel.
- Market Trends and Business Leads: Stay up-to-date on market trends and provide business leads to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Business Volume Growth: Coordinate activities to maintain and increase business volume, including advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, employee training, and guest relations.
- Annual Sales Goals: Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in preparing Annual Sales goals and develop working plans to achieve them.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and review internal promotion material to ensure consistency with hotel standards.
- Community Relations: Work closely with the Assistant Manager Public Relations to improve relations between the hotel and the local community.
- Client Relationships: Maintain a productive and professional relationship with all clients.
- Sales Reports: Submit monthly and weekly sales plans and market analysis, as well as daily sales/activity reports.
- Business Development: Maintain close contacts within the neighboring hospitality sectors to capture business opportunities.
- Organizational Image: Develop and promote the hotel's image and awareness through direct mail campaigns.
- Additional Responsibilities: Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by management.
