Senior Delivery Manager

This is a Senior Delivery Manager position that involves overseeing end-to-end project management for large-scale and complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP project management, including Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives.

A key aspect of this role is stakeholder engagement, requiring extensive experience working with senior-level executives and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives with business strategy.

The successful candidate will also have significant experience in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships while ensuring effective cost control.

Risk and issue resolution are also critical skills, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar tools is required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale and complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
• Manage expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives by working closely with senior business leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams, ensuring the team remains motivated, focused, and efficient throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, setting clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ensure execution adheres to defined strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Manage change requests and project deviations with minimal disruption to the project scope, cost, or timeline.
• Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring resource allocation is efficient and costs are controlled.
• Forecast resource requirements and ensure proper utilization across project phases.
• Ensure the highest quality of project deliverables by enforcing rigorous quality standards and processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Manage external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Regularly report project status, progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights.
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and frameworks to drive better project delivery outcomes.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, document key takeaways, and ensure smooth handover of completed projects to clients or internal teams.

Requirements:

• 8-11 years of proven experience in managing large, complex projects in delivery and project management roles.
• Expertise in SAP project management, including Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives.
