Job Title:

Lead ECM Syndication and Placement Specialist

Job Description:

This is a key role for Deputy Manager or Manager in Equity Capital Markets into Syndication with extensive experience in Investment Banking sector particularly in areas of Equity Capital Markets – IPO, QIP, Buy Back, FPO, Rights Issue, Open Offer, FCCB and GDR /ADR Issue mainly looking into Syndication, Coverage and Placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage databases of investor preferences, allocations, and feedback.
  • Identify and target institutional investors (domestic and international) in coordination with sales and IB team.
  • Participate in Investors picks meeting and selection of investors in coordination with sales team.
  • Coordinate meetings with issuer, Investors, other Lead Manager for fixing the meeting and slots.
  • Build relationships with Investors through regular interaction and deal marketing.
  • Track market sentiment, deal flows, recent ECM transactions, and investor behaviour.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gauge investor appetite pre-deal and manage demand during the offering.
  • Monitor demand, pricing, and investor feedback during deal execution.
  • Provide competitive analysis on pricing, structure, and timing of deals.
  • Manage the book-building process and allocation of shares to investors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage conflict-of-interest situations.
Requirements:
  • At least 07 - 09 years' experience in Investment Banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of ECM mandates and syndication processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Accomplished professional with proven track record in IB business Syndication of ECM mandates.
  • Good relationships in Industry, Large Corporates , Financial Services Markets and excellent Investor management Credentials.
