Experienced Oracle Exadata Database AdministratorAs a seasoned Oracle Exadata Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), to ensure high availability and performance for our clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans to engage with assigned client base and implement new customer transition initiatives.
  • Administer and optimize Oracle Exadata systems, including compute nodes, storage cells, and InfiniBand.
  • Provision, patch, backup, and recover Oracle databases on OCI.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI and design high-availability solutions.
  • Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools.
  • Automate database operations using scripting languages like Shell, Python, and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of production database support experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems and Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB) and Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard.
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred.
