Job Description

- Should have Oracle Database administrator experience with 3 year of experience in Oracle Exadata Exalogic Machine.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems - OCM, Exadata, Exalogic, Exalytics, ODA, Oracle SuperCluster, PCA, ZFS appliance.
- Working experience in configuring networks and storage in the Data centre and in a virtualized environment, and create, deploy and manage virtual machines, and administration of Oracle VM Server for x86.
- Working knowledge of Oracle VM configuration in PCA, external storage integration for PCA, external ZFS Storage with InfiniBand (IB), thorough understanding of PCA Architecture.
- Oracle Database Certified Master and Oracle Private Cloud Appliance Administration certification credentials are desired.
- Excellent understanding of Oracle Architecture and Concepts, and good understanding of architecture and features.
- Oracle Cloud architectural understanding and experience in setting up databases on cloud, including DBaaS model.
- Working knowledge of Large Scale Datacentre Migrations, Virtualization, and Cloud Administration.
- Good Technical knowledge on Exalytics.
- Experience in Exalytics Installation and configuring application software on Exalytics Machine (physical / Virtual), Oracle Exalytics system management (diagnostics and monitoring) and capacity management, Deployment on Oracle Exalytics for HA and DR solution Hardware replacement assistance with Oracle support.
- Experience in H / W zone creation and VM creation and management Install Configure OVM server and OVM Manager Backup, Recovery of Oracle VM manager.
- Experience in Exalytics and its components up gradation on Oracle VM server and OVM and applying Oracle Exalytics release patch set Managing storage, networking, server pools and VM on virtualized.
- Experience with Oracle Hardware family (x86, SPARC and Storage), Oracle VM infrastructure, working with NAS, Oracle ZFS appliance. Experience over OVM, creating users, templates, Building VMs, monitoring alerts and understanding of the Architecture of OVM.
- Operating systems system administration including Networking, Managing Kernel Parameters, Partitioning, File systems management, VM creation resizing is must
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), Data Guard, large systems implementation or support of Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle VM/Virtualization.
- Knowledge on Exadata storage servers upgrades and patching, and its connections with Exalogic.
- Experience on Exalogic Elastic Architecture and its components, and DR set up for application running on Exalogic.
- Experience on X3-2 or later version of Exadata instance, and knowledge on InfiniBand switches upgrades and patching.
- Experience to support the servers of Exalogic Virtual (X3-2, X4-2, X5-2 and so on and network topology of Exalogic including adding network, allocation and dislocation of IP addresses.
- Knowledge on ZFS storages models and creation of projects, file system, exporting, remote replication and shadow migrations.
- Should have involved managing and provisioning virtual machines for customers, supporting Oracle Linux Exalytics/Exadata/ZFS EMC NAS/SAN systems, system patching and upgrades, capacity management, system setup and builds.
- Monitoring of Operating system, database, security, storage, Exadata components using Enterprise Manager as a centralized proactive maintenance solution.
- Provide and implement performance and tuning recommendations of all components or Exadata Machine.
- Backup and recovery strategies on Exalogic Machines
- Exadata storage cell, Infiniband, Flash Cache, PDU, KVM, monitoring, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Experience in configuring and using ILOM, and configuring Exalogic Server with Exadata Server and knowledge of Infinite band network connectivity.
- Experience in configuring and administering OEM for monitoring various components, and perform system administration activities with respect to Exalogic Server Administration like applying patches, configuring and allocating resources, monitoring the hardware and software components
- Installing, configuring and Weblogic Server on Exalogic servers, Weblogic cluster configuration and administration experience.
- Must have 3 years hands on experience on ASMCMD, IORM, DBFS, Flash Cache, DCLI, ADRCI utilities.
- Applying Oracle critical/ Exadata/ rollup Patch Sets for operating System/ Grid/ ASM/ Infiniband/ Database.
- Capacity to resolve or direct the resolution direction in case real time issues, and able to tune the environment in case of performance issues.
- Coordinate with Oracle Vendor support for Hardware replacements.
