Job Description Role: Senior Oracle DBA Location: Offshore/India Who are we looking for? The Mphasis Oracle DBA team that owns the managed DBA services for this client, has an opening for a Core Oracle Senior.
DBA - specialized in Oracle Database Administration.
Technical Skills: Hands on experience in Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c/18c/19c Database Administrator.
Experienced with hands on experience in Oracle Core DBA Skills of database monitoring, backup, recovery, installation, DB Creation/configuration performance tuning, DB patching & upgrades.
Knowledge & experience on Different Backup methods and backup tools is needed.
Experience in handling high availability systems - Oracle Data guard / Physical & Logical Standby databases Experience in working & configuring ASM and manage issues related to ASM Experience in identifying top queries, top sessions and Performance Tuning Should have knowledge & experience in Unix command and writing shell scripts Service/Customer orientation/ good communication skills are mandate.
Working experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager is a must Experience in working in Exadata is a plus Experience in Database and server consolidation Experience in Installation of OMS Server, Weblogic and Server Knowledge/experience in my SQL and Postgres database administration is a plus Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management is needed.
Working Knowledge on BMC tool is added Plus.
Apply recommend PSU and CPU patches periodically as it gets released/as per the Client requirement Should be an individual performer to take deliverables and handle fresh challenges.
Understand Application lifecycle and build Service continuity documents Responsible for building knowledge base - Run books, Cheat sheet, DR Drill books, Escalation procedure Should be ready to work in rotating shifts (morning, general and afternoon shifts) Candidate needs to be Good Team Player If interested, please share the updated resume.
