Qualification : Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Certification : OCA/OCP Certification Mandatory

Purpose of the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. Youll be responsible for maintaining mission-critical Oracle databases that support global operations. This includes installation, configuration, performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases in production and non-production environments

- Maintain and support Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard setups

- Administer database backups and recovery, ensuring business continuity and DR readiness

- Monitor database performance, storage, and implement tuning as required

- Implement security controls, manage user access, and comply with audit requirements

- Work with Oracle Enterprise Linux, ZFS, Exadata, and SuperCluster systems

- Troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and provide support to developers and end-users

- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs

- Plan for database capacity, growth, and performance optimization

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams on upgrades, patches, and architecture decisions

- Advise on partitioning, clustering, and other optimization strategies

? Mandatory Skills & Experience

- OCA/OCP Certification is required

- Strong experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard

- Hands-on with Oracle Enterprise Linux, ZFS, Exadata, and SuperCluster

- Solid understanding of Oracle and SQL Server database administration

- Familiarity with database monitoring tools, backup strategies, and HA/DR configurations

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Bonus If You Have

- Experience working in banking, telecom, or other high-availability enterprise environments

- Familiarity with cloud-based database deployments (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure)

- Experience creating automated scripts for maintenance or monitoring
