As a seasoned HR professional, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Your responsibilities will include addressing employee grievances, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans to help employees improve their performance.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- E nsure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, improving overall productivity and job satisfaction.
- Maintain training records and track employee development, identifying areas for improvement.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee files and processing HR transactions.
- Generate HR reports and metrics to inform business decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain impartial and objective.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of applicable labor laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them in practice.
- Experience using HR information systems (HRIS), preferably in a cloud-based platform.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Preferrably, certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR, demonstrating expertise in HR principles and practices.
- Experience with payroll processing, training and development programs, and other HR-related software applications.
