Team Leader for Commercial Real Estate Lending Operations

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Team Leader to oversee analysts supporting Commercial Real Estate lending operations. This role demands leadership, in-depth knowledge of CRE lending, and ability to drive collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and mentor analysts processing loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management.
  2. Ensure delivery meets service level agreements with high accuracy.
  3. Track, review, and report team performance; conduct regular feedback and coaching.
Operational Excellence:
  1. Enforce adherence to lending policies, standards, and criteria.
  2. Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission.
  3. Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  1. Act as single point of contact for client stakeholders.
  2. Manage escalations, provide operational updates, and lead process alignment discussions.
  3. Facilitate transparent communication between teams.
Compliance & Risk:
  1. Oversee collaboration with KYC and Financial Crime teams.
  2. Ensure compliance with UK banking regulations and client-specific policies.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
  1. Identify initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  2. Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services, with proven leadership skills and knowledge of CRE lending.
