Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our clients in the REIT / Real Estate Industry.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have exposure to multiple industries including General Industrials & Industrial Services, Consumers, Retail and Oil & Gas is an added advantage.

  • Develop expertise in REIT / Real Estate specific financial modelling including operating and non-operating cash flow modelling, levered and debt cash flow, JV & waterfall, building and auditing financial models for multifamily, office, industrial and retail assets classes.
  • Utilize Argus valuation models (both single property and portfolio), lease abstracting, lease review, and audit etc. performing cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  • Perform valuations for different commercial real estate properties by applying different valuation approaches – income capitalization approach (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach.
  • Model REIT income statement and balance sheet, understanding of revolver, interest expense & circularity, modeling of the future development, FFO & CAD, ultimately building and auditing of REIT valuation and NAV models.
  • Create pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, company focused discussion documents related to various industries.
  • Analyze M&A deal run and potential target & buyer screenings using databases including Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, FactSet etc.
Requirements

Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction.

Conduct analysis & perform quality control check of the outgoing reports / packs.

Other activities include structuring deliverables & developing new capabilities / new research products.

Demonstrate strength and experience in client / requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment.
