Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bloomberg API Integration Specialist with over 5 years of experience in financial data integration, API development, and real-time market data processing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Bloomberg APIs, data feeds, and integration into various trading, risk management, and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with Bloomberg APIs (e.g., BLPAPI) to support trading, analytics, and reporting systems.
  • Implement real-time and historical market data retrieval processes.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust integration solutions.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of Bloomberg data integrations.
  • Troubleshoot API connectivity, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Bloomberg licensing and usage policies.
  • Document technical solutions, integration workflows, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Bloomberg API (BLPAPI) integration.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience with market data systems, FIX protocol, and financial data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, market data structures, and trading workflows.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database integration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
