API Integration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled API Integration Specialist to join our team. As an expert in integrating APIs, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless interactions between systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for API integrations and a drive to continuously improve processes and workflows.

This is a remote role that requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end API integrations with new and existing partners, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support integration processes across all phases.
  • Define, document, and communicate integration requirements clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance integration roadmaps for key clients and suppliers.
  • Monitor and assess integration performance, identifying areas for improvement and leading optimisation efforts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience delivering end-to-end API integrations.
  • Strong experience working with API-based systems and understanding of REST/JSON/XML protocols.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles and proficiency with tools like Jira or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous integrations and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for API integrations.
