Integration Expert Role

About this job:

We are seeking a seasoned Integration Specialist to lead our team and drive the migration to a modern middleware architecture using SoftwareAG WebMethods.

This hands-on leadership position will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise integration solutions while guiding the team through transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor integration team members, define goals, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Migration and Implementation: Drive migration from BizTalk/custom solutions to SoftwareAG WebMethods.
  • API Management: Manage API & Middleware (Azure APIM, WebMethods API Gateway).
  • Design and Maintenance: Design and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, orchestrations, and workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure integration security (OAuth, JWT, SAML) and compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and document best practices.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in WebMethods, BizTalk, API Gateway, and integration solutions.
  • Expertise in API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging protocols).
  • Strong knowledge of APIM, BizTalk Server, SQL Server, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
  • Coding skills: C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Familiarity with microservices, ESB, BPM, and workflow automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Mgmt).
  • DevOps (CI/CD in Azure), certifications in WebMethods/APIM.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide integration projects.
  • Agile, JIRA/Confluence familiarity.
