Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between webMethods platforms and external systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, refining specifications, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design new integrations for webMethods 10.x and webMethods.io platforms.
  • Develop and maintain integrations in webMethods 10.x and webMethods.io.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues.
  • Manage solution development, testing, QA, UAT, and migration to production, as well as source code management.
  • Establish and manage connections with external entities and backend systems, including certificate management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve failures with customers.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Architecture knowledge of webMethods components (Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Active Transfer, etc.).
  • Architecture knowledge of webMethods.io.
  • Experience with webMethods Flow Language.
  • Leveraging pub/sub via Universal Messaging in loosely coupled design.
  • Building end-to-end integrations in webMethods, including Trading Networks configuration and connectivity setup.
  • SAP Adapter experience and integrations through IDOC, RFC, and ODATA.
  • B2B Industry standards knowledge (EDI X12, UNEDIFACT, cXML, AS2, AS4) along with generic data formats (XML, JSON, flat files, etc.).
  • Network protocols knowledge (HTTP, SFTP, SMB, SOAP, REST, etc.) and encryptions/security (TLS, SSL, SSH, etc).
  • Modern authentication solutions knowledge (OAuth, OIDC, JWT) and ability to configure and manage Azure AD settings.
  • VFS and Active Transfer job setup expertise.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux OS.

Necessary Soft Skills:
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Global agile team collaboration and interaction with contacts from diverse regions and cultures.
  • Fluency in English language (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and time pressure.
  • Awareness and operation within Agile Framework.
