About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX.

Key responsibilities include interpreting and mapping HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets (e.g., 270/271, 837, 835, 999) to system data models and ITX transformations. You will work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical or Integration Business Analyst
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets
  • Experience working with or supporting IBM ITX (Transformation Extender) projects
  • Ability to understand and document source-to-target data mappings
  • Proficiency in analyzing flat files, XML, JSON, and CSV formats
  • Hands-on experience with data flow diagrams, interface specs, and business rules
  • Experience in Medicaid, MMIS, or healthcare systems
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence

Preferred qualifications include experience with API-based integrations, SFTP transfers, and middleware technologies, as well as understanding of integration architecture (e.g., ESB, message queues).
