Senior Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Maintenance Manager to lead our plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in managing equipment and personnel. They will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and optimizing resource usage.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance engineers and technicians. They will also be proficient in technical skills such as mechanical safety practices, schematic diagram reading, and architectural drawing development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure plant operations are safe and efficient
  • Function as Project Manager for various tasks, including planning and executing specific projects, designing manufacturing layouts, and interacting with contractors
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring effective implementation of PMs, tracking and monitoring resolution of issues, and maintaining minimum downtime of assets
  • Optimize resource usage, control costs, and standardize spares/consumables
  • Provide guidance on preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance procedures to meet output targets and deadlines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 18-25 years of experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry, with 10 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Technical and supervisory experience in handling ETP, Boiler, Refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical HT&LT systems, MHEs, Dryer, Cooker, Crusher, Packaging, equipment, and machinery
  • Facility maintenance experience, including buildings and related systems
  • Knowledge of mechanical safety practices, prior knowledge of food processing equipment, and good communication and team leading skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of 5S, TPM, ERP system, PPT, MS Word, Excel
  • Ability to modify plant layout, read, develop, and alter schematic diagrams, equipment, and architectural drawings
  • Willingness to work off-shift hours, overtime, and be on call as needed
