Senior Maintenance Manager & Project Coordinator
About the Job
As a Senior Maintenance Manager & Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the leadership team and team members to maintain a safe and reliable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the Plant and equipment, including formalizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify potential problem areas and address them in a planned manner.
- Function as Project Manager for various tasks, including planning and executing specific projects, designing manufacturing layouts, coordinating equipment selections, interacting with contractors, and evaluating quotas.
- Prepare handover documents with all as-built drawings and test reports for official records.
- Maintain through Institution, Monitoring tracking of safe working practices at the level.
- Lead the Maintenance team, including Maintenance Engineers/Technicians, for all maintenance activities (PM / Breakdown) undertaken in operational settings.
- Visit all sites to identify potential problem areas and address them in a planned manner.
- Track and monitor the resolution of issues reported by site heads.
- Ensure compliance with PMs as per maintenance plans.
- Educate on emergency maintenance procedures to ensure that the plant operations meet output targets and deadlines.
- Optimize resource usage, including manpower, energy, fuel, and inventory.
- Cost control over inventory and Repair & Maintenance.
- Standardize spares and consumables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 18-25 years of experience in Maintenance within the Manufacturing industry, along with 10 years of supervisory management experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Technical and supervisory experience in handling ETP / Boiler / Refrigeration / HVAC / Electrical HT & LT systems / MHEs / Dryer / Cooker / Crusher / Packaging equipment and machinery.
• Facility maintenance experience, including buildings and related systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical safety practices.
• Prior knowledge of food processing equipment.
• Good communication skills and team leading abilities, with willingness to travel.
• Ability to read, develop, and alter schematic diagrams, equipment, and architectural drawings.
• Ability to modify plant layouts to enhance efficiency or accommodate new equipment.
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM, ERP systems, PPT, MS Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to work off-shift hours, overtime, and be on call as needed.
