JOB DESCRIPTION:

Engineers will be required to provide engineer-level support on Condition Monitoring of Rotating Equipment.

The role involves Condition monitoring of Rotating Equipment using various condition monitoring techniques like vibration, oil analysis, thermography, videoscopy, etc.

The engineers will utilise online and offline data acquisition techniques to analyse and provide necessary recommendations on maintenance needs to avoid major breakdowns of the equipment.

They will provide support in reliability improvement plans and initiatives based on condition monitoring parameters.

The engineers will keep updated knowledge of the condition of the Rotating Equipment by monitoring, tracking, and analyzing to identify developing faults and defects.

Their objective is to keep Rotating Equipment condition healthy in compliance with associated standards and procedures.

Job Accountabilities

The detailed analysis of condition-based data will be carried out.

Condition Monitoring, vibration oil analysis, wear particle, thermography, etc will be monitored and analysed.

The engineers will carry out Root Cause Analysis for actual Potential failures.

They will identify inherent conditions leading to Rotating Equipment failure through various operational machine condition monitoring parameters.

Corrective Actions recommendation on observed fault, defect initial damage report will be prepared to Maintenance, followed up and closed.

The aim is to prevent failure of Rotating Equipment using all possible condition monitoring data information analytical tools.

Rotating Equipment condition will be monitored and tracked in terms of failures bad actors on cost and count and corrective and Preventive actions will be identified.

Best maintenance practices of PdM PM LLF, Lubrication Equipment change over and corrective maintenance will be complied with.

Update Review support for best condition monitoring practice documents will be provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

- Knowledge application of condition-based maintenance techniques analysis with an ability to independently troubleshoot analyse resolve equipment problems.

- Basic knowledge of Machine Condition monitoring Balancing Alignment and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of Rotating Equipment maintenance techniques and types.

- Familiarisation with various vibration standards.

- Basic understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction.

- Necessary Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

- Accredited Vibration Analysis training Cat I.

- Knowledge of Condition Monitoring Data systems like CSIEmersonSKF and GE System1SmartSignal, various oil analysis techniques, wear particles, thermography,y etc.

Desirable

- Formal training in Condition Monitoring subject techniques from vendors, consultants, and reputed technical training institutes.

- Basic knowledge related to Rotating Equipment construction function and maintenance.

- Certification in condition monitoring techniques.

Desirable Experience

- Overall Experience of 4-6 years along with at least 2-3 years of Condition Monitoring in a Power Refinery Petrochemical Industry.
