Programme Manager Nutrition Role Overview

This position is pivotal in the humanitarian sector, responsible for leading the development and management of nutrition-focused initiatives.

The successful candidate will be part of a leadership team driving social and economic development across India through various programmes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the development and management of nutrition-focused initiatives.
  • Developing strategic plans, building relationships with stakeholders, and managing end-to-end programme execution.
  • Cross-functional collaboration, content creation, and relationship management with partners and beneficiaries.

Qualifications And Skills

Required Qualifications Include:

  • PhD or Master's or a PG Diploma in Public Health Nutrition, Food and Nutrition Sciences, Community Health, Global Health, Public Health, and related disciplines.
  • Five to ten years of experience in public health nutrition, food and related programme development, research and policy.
  • Research and programme evaluation experience an advantage.
  • Landscape analysis, problem statement curating, theory of change, logical framework analysis, proposal development or assessment desirable.

  • Problem-solving, data and innovation orientation, strategic thinking and planning, agility and adaptability, planning, organising, leading, and supervising.
  • High integrity, ethical, responsible, accountable, deep commitment, passion for the social development sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, command over spoken and written English and Hindi, knowledge of grassroots' realities and social complexities.
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, Google Suite), proactive, self-starter, team player with good interpersonal skills.
