**System Support Specialist Role Summary:**

This position is responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of Murex systems. You will work closely with technology teams to maintain a stable environment for trading and risk management platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support Murex applications to guarantee system uptime and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined service level agreement timelines.
  • Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, DBA, and network teams for environment-related issues.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT support with hands-on experience in Python/Java, Cloud (AWS & Azure), and PostgreSQL.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience with Murex systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
  • Experience with automation or scripting for production support.
  • Exposure to financial products and trading systems.
