
Acquire and Nurture Institutional Clients

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Development Manager to acquire and nurture institutional clients, including trusts, associations, clubs, societies, and government bodies. This individual will be responsible for initiating new business opportunities within their assigned region, acquiring Current Accounts & Saving Accounts (CASA) and Term Deposits, and managing the relationship value of existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Nurturing: Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, ensuring excellent service and driving sales growth.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with our strategic goals.
- Portfolio Management: Acquire CASA and Term Deposits, and manage the relationship value of existing customers to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proactive Solutions: Leverage our bank's relationships with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive banking solutions.
- Customer Service & Advisory: Provide exceptional customer service and manage investment portfolios to meet customer needs.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Branch Banking team to develop sales and acquisition opportunities from this segment.
- Target Achievement: Meet assigned top-line and CASA numbers and values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in acquiring and nurturing institutional clients, with a strong track record of sales growth.
- Excellent business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
- Expertise in acquiring CASA and Term Deposits, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Ability to provide proactive banking solutions and manage customer investment portfolios to drive desired outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
