Project Coordination Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and executing project deliverables to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with costing information
  • Ensuring projects are concluded at cost target and deadline targets with high-quality deliverables
  • Executing project delivery based on the plan
  • Communicating the right information at the right time during the project lifecycle
  • Guiding and reviewing Requirements Documents, Functional Specs, and Technical Design Documents
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals for projects and change requests
  • Organizing meetings with stakeholders for capturing requirements and turning them into a Statement of Requirement
  • Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies of the project
  • Actively reviewing project teams' project artifacts and documents
  • Presentation of similar projects and related products to prospects
  • Engaging in Proof-Of-Concepts engagements held in client premises
  • Preparing training materials and conducting trainings
  • Conducting project presentations, daily huddles, project board, and steering committee meetings

Required Skills:

  • Experience in delivering Online Banking and Mobile Banking projects in financial institutions
  • Complete command over Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
  • Complete command of Microsoft Project, Project Planning, and Execution
  • Complete understanding of Test Management Practices, Test Planning, Test Monitoring, Control, and Governance
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to present information on PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of processes, preferably PMP, CSM, and CMMI qualified
  • Experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects in the finance industry
  • Great interpersonal skills, communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion, escalation management, and conflict management

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Banking experience is an added advantage
  • BSCS/BSSE/MSCS/MSSE degree
  • Any certification is an added advantage
