Job Description

This role involves managing pricing, discounts and maintaining margins.

We're seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 2 years background in ecommerce sales and experience in uploading discounts and planning pricing on marketplaces like Myntra, Nykaa and Ajio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Creating channel and category level pricing plans aligned with supply plans, optimizing inputs based on inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  2. Achieving top-line and trade margin targets at a daily level across all channels.
  3. Ensuring the sustainability of return on sales (ROS) by analyzing historical sales data to predict future demand, trends, seasonality and competition.
  4. Adjusting pricing to optimize click-through rates (CTR) and conversions based on visibility funnel insights.
  5. Maintaining regular communication with channel partners to review actual vs plan performance along with key account managers (KAM).
  6. Planning, executing and optimizing discounting strategies on all channels during events for optimal sell-throughs and margin delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in ecommerce sales with a minimum of 2 years background.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and discount management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
