Based in Bengaluru with over 4,500 associates, it powers innovations across omnichannel retail, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, supply chain, and customer experience.

The Pricing Analytics team supports pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing pricing strategies for various product categories across channels. The team leverages advanced analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions, develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets.

The Senior Analyst – Pricing role is responsible for strategic price test development, data-driven price change recommendation & measurement, and ad hoc work supporting Lowe's strategic pricing efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing cluster-specific data analytics, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting, & insights.
  • Researching, designing, and developing applicable statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Designing and developing processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leveraging Item role designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models in support of Role of Category and Intent objectives to develop insights.
  • Developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test v/s control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyzing Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis for Pricing team.
  • Developing executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing.
