We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new pastry, bakery, and chocolate products that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop creative pastry, bakery, and chocolate recipes that showcase your skills and expertise.
- Create menus and standardize recipes to ensure consistency and efficiency in the kitchen.
- Document and cost recipes to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
- Design and implement unique garnishing ideas that reflect current market trends and enhance the visual appeal of our pastry offerings.
- Prepare a variety of items such as cakes, pastries, and chocolates using classic and modern recipes that meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and offer our guests the latest pastry, bakery, and chocolate products available.
To succeed as an Executive Sous Chef, you must possess:
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field, with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the culinary industry.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Excellent communication and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong planning, organizing, analytical, budgeting, and cost control skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize costs.
