Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our global IT team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our customers across various time zones.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism when addressing customer queries via ticketing systems.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with global IT teams for unified support services.
  • Provide expert assistance for hardware and software issues both on-site and remotely.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications as needed.
  • Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments efficiently.
  • Document all support requests, resolutions, and system updates for future reference.
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts with ease.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with the latest patches and updates for systems and applications.
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Ability to adapt to three-shift schedules: Morning, Evening, and Night.
