We are seeking an IT support specialist to join our distributed team and ensure secure, reliable IT operations across systems, networks, and devices. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing remote assistance for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote technical assistance for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.
  • Maintain documentation for IT support procedures.
  • Systems Administration: Manage user accounts and permissions across various tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Monitor system access and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support VPN, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication setup.
  • Network & Security Management: Implement IT security best practices to protect sensitive data.
  • Perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates.
  • Respond to IT security incidents and escalate as needed.
  • Process Improvement & Global Collaboration: Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support remote deployments and field devices when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Google Workspace / Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
