Job Title: System Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

As a System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing production support and application administration to business and web applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, including intranet and extranet applications.

  • Provide timely and effective support to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address system defects and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Microsoft technologies, with experience in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud.
  • Excellent knowledge of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures.
  • Strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripts and SQL databases.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate technical designs, strategies, and problems to management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL along with knowledge of debugging network related issues using various available tools like Wireshark.
